Teaching English in community schools

Teaching English in Community schools is for international volunteers that are looking for a life rewarding experience. You as a volunteer will be heading to local schools to teach the children the English language. We focus mostly in the classrooms but it is also crucial to organize extra activities for the children so they can use what they have learned in real life situations.
By offering this program we hope to inspire children and make them more prepared for the “real world” as English is one of the most spoken languages in the world we strongly believe by educating our children they will become more successful and self-sure, this will also open their way for future career choices and gives them a better chance in International relations.
We partner with many schools and the volunteer can choose to be placed in the city area or to more Rural Locations.

Teaching duties
As a volunteer your duty is not only to teach the children but also assist the local teachers in their lesson planning. Due to financial situations many children are not able to go to school and so we require in some cases you perform your duties after school hours to children of various age groups so every child gets an equal chance on education.
By working together with the local teachers we hope to increase International relations and both parties can learn from each other to further improve lesson planning, teaching methods and to help create resourceful teaching techniques.
